Images via Notre This Oil Coat from Stephan Schneider has a big ass hood on it and if that doesn't excite you, then I don't even know what we're doing here. One would think that over a year of me pushing the boulder of this blog would have convinced you that an oxblood coat with a giant cowl is worth a little fanfare, but one would be wrong, wouldn't one? Let's just all agree that I'm a living saint for soldiering on the way I have. I'll take your silence as agreement. Time to move on and begin the healing process. Get out there and buy something expensive, well-made, sustainably-sourced, and expensive. Do it for yourself, but, more importantly, do it for me. Maybe you could start with this awesome coat. It costs 750 USD. Only a suggestion. Take it or leave it. I'm assuming you're going to leave it, but I really want you to take it. I want to feel that Oprah power. Hold on, I'm going to try something. Look under your chair: IT'S A BRAND NEW COAT! Did you look? Was there a coat? Shit, I don't have that Oprah power. Or much power of any sort, if I'm honest. Sad, but true. And you know what the saddest thing about all this is? This coat has a giant hood and I haven't even mentioned monks, monasteries, or anything related to esoteric secret societies. Talk about a missed opportunity. Guess you can't win 'em all. Is that the lesson here? -RB
