Yes, dear reader, I’m back up in this motherfucker, with some white-phosphorus-level fire to share a.k.a this Patch Jacket from KAMO (plus the equally fire matching pants). It's been almost a year since my last post and I would consider apologizing for my absence, except for the fact that I'm not here to validate your emotions, bruh. That's not my gig. Back to the fire: this jacket costs 385 USD and the cotton content keeps it 100 emoji. I’m feeling this shit so hard. For some inexplicable reason, I’m compelled to ride or die for anything inspired by desert warfare. I’m trying to dress like I’m about to put a chukka boot right up Rommel’s ass. I stay ready for battle, because [TRUE FACT ALERT] real life is, and always will be, war. You remember Warhammer 40K? Exactly. Even life in outer space is endless war. If you disagree, I envy you. But also, you’re wrong and stupid. Hold up. That might have been overly harsh. I should be more careful with my words. Let’s try this again. You may or may not be wrong and/or stupid, but your opinions are both. Timeout. Still too harsh. Take three. While you and your opinions may or may not be wrong and/or stupid, I think we can all agree that your take on this particular issue is utter trash and, furthermore, wrong and stupid. There. That one was much better, I think. Back to the indisputable fact that we are soldiers, conscripted to fight the proverbial good fight in the perpetual warfare that comprises our waking lives. I have an impulse to make some sort of tenuous figurative connection back to the aforementioned jacket via the well-worn garment/armor metaphor, but I will instead randomly mention that I’m soaking my feet in a warm epsom salt bath and they feel fantastic. Salute to footbaths; I think they’re going to be one of my favorite Things That Are Good™ going forward. I guess I’m that kind of person now. Stay tuned for more developments -RB
