This Tomas Maier cotton-gabardine jacket is pretty dope and I'll hear no arguments to the contrary. If you're in the market for a field jacket and a chore coat, you should consider killing both those outerwear birds with this stone. It's the upper pockets that make it for me, but that's probably because I get all my fashion tips from Jon Moy and my style is straight *reads four pins once*.
This is the 'Cape Cruiser' from Filson and it's made out of 100% virgin wool. I bet you don't even know the sexual past of your wool. Who knows where that cable-knit sweater has been? Anyway, the 'Cape Cruiser' has handwarmer pockets, in addition to the four flap pockets on the front. I live in LA, so my hands are always warm, but for all I know, you people live somewhere with seasons and without crippling drought. So do yourself some good, everybody: buy a jacket today. Preferably one with many pockets.
