I know this Dickie's x Palmer Trading Co. collabo Long Shop Coat costs a cool 350 USD, but I really want one. The result of a collaboration between workwear legends Dickie's and badass designer Willy Chavarria, this piece demonstrates nothing but pure, unadulterated loathing for my Mint.com budgets. These motherfuckers just don't want me to make sound financial decisions. Why else would you produce something so gorgeous, so perfect, other than to compel garment nerds like me to cop without thinking? Life continues to be an unfair affair. It's a shame I can't wink at you through the world wide web. You'll have to trust that I winked. Don't worry though: I'm extraordinarily trustworthy. Tell me your darkest secret. I'll only tell people I think are also trustworthy and maybe some other people, the next time I'm drunk. You know what? You probably shouldn't tell me your darkest secret. Not if you value people not knowing it. I recommend telling me a mundane secret and pretending it's your darkest. That way everyone I tell will think you are a generally good human, when we all know deep down that everyone is a huge piece of shit. Yes, everyone. The person you just thought of as a rebuttal? Absolute trash. The only thing that can possibly redeem any of us is to buy this shop coat and try to atone. Our souls are filthy with the soot of a thousand generations.
