AUTHENTIC JERSEYS FROM EBBETS FIELD FLANNELS & THE SMELL OF CUT GRASS

Images via Ebbets Field Flannels
I highly recommend you purchase an authentic reproduction flannel baseball jersey from Ebbets Field Flannels, such as this Jersey City Giants 1939 Road Jersey, because they are extraordinarily legit and cannot be fucked with in any conceivable way. I guess you don't have to buy the Jersey City one, unless you're from or a huge fan of Jersey City (New Jersey, not Wisconsin), but if you want one I won't stop you. I doubt you'll be disappointed if you do buy one. All these beauties are "made-to-order and handcrafted in the USA", with vintage details like felt lettering and hitting records untainted by betting scandals or steroid abuse. Take a stroll down memory lane, back to the good ole days of 1939, the year when Hewlett-Packard was founded and little else of note happened. Smell that? That's the smell of freshly cut grass. I've always loved that smell. Turns out it's actually just the scent of grass blood and suffering, but I love it all the same. Much like figs, which are part of an unappetizing reproductive synergy between fruit and insect. Sometimes nature is terrifying. That's when you should resort to buying yourself expensive authentic reproduction jerseys and arguing with strangers about the meaning of the word "throwback" -RB
