APOLOGIES TO THE SNAKES & WORMSSummer sales keep on trucking and it's time for you to get some new shoes -- or tires, keeping with the vehicular imagery. Luckily for everyone with feet (my apologies to my readers in the snake and worm communities) Need Supply Co. has a selection of dope kicks on sale for you to salivate over. Today, our focus is a footwear brand that has become deeply embedded in the collective consciousness of the #menswear world: Common Projects. That's the Achilles Raw and it lists at 449 USD. CP treats the notion of less-is-more as religious dogma. The shoes are simple, their lines clean, their only adornment the gold-stamped serial code that is the iconic mark of Common Projects. Wearing a pair of these shoes is perhaps the very epitome of flexing, as only those in the know will have any inkling of your sartorial power. And if you cop them now, we'll keep the fact that you only paid 337 USD between us. That's the Cadet Derby and it lists at 524 USD (currently on glorious sale for 394 USD). Common Projects' minimalist aesthetic is in full effect here, with a navy leather so dark I could barely believe the copy. The extended pull tab is another CP signature that actually has utility, because you know you're too lazy to look for your solid brass shoehorn and you'll be damned before you bend over and loosen the laces.
