ADIDAS NMD_R2 PKS & INERTIAImages via Oi Polloi I've never seen either incarnation of Tron, but I still enjoy these NMD_R2 PKs from adidas, because I flirt with the concept of running shoes, despite desperately avoiding the action of running. And while modern man may never unravel the myriad mysteries of my capacity for cognitive dissonance, even the lowly Australopithecus could grasp the gravity of this fanfare-worthy footwear. Holy zebra feet, Batman; these shoes are Space Age greatness in a primeknit package. Rejoice, rejoice! The King of Kicks cometh! Let us make merry and take advantage of the relative weakness of the British Pound to the American Dollar by buying and buying. By the by, these trainers cost 130 GBP (164 USD as the TTAG Blog goes to press), so I hope you have a fair bit of elbow space left in your annual sneaker budget. You know who I really feel bad for? People who thought I was lying about the whole never-having-seen-Tron thing and that there might be, at the very least, one well-conceived reference to Tron nested somewhere in this post. Unfortunately for those people, I was not lying, because I am an honest citizen, who is thoroughly incapable of such deceit. I've never seen Tron and, at this point, it's unlikely that I'll ever alleviate that decifiency. Inertia is one stifling son of a bitch -RB
